Training on “JUNGLE KRISHI” (English/Hindi Program)
Training program for Agricultural and Siridhanya (Millets) enthusiasts to learn hands-on methods of
ancient farming (Jungle Krishi), cultivation, processing & benefits of our forgotten food Siridhanya.
An opportunity to meet and interact with agriculture scientist Dr. Khadar.
● Jungle Krishi or Jungle Farming is an ancient art of farming rediscovered by Dr. Khadar.
● Jungle Krishi was practiced in eastern part of the globe particularly in the peninsular India.
Objective:
The prime objective of this program is to introduce our Ancient way of Farming which helps farmers to
grow food without using Synthetic Fertilizers and Pesticides. It also helps farmers in dry land areas to grow
crops with just rainfall. A “need of the hour” to create awareness among people on Siridhanya which helps
individuals for absolute health.
Who can participate?
- Individuals who would like to know more about cultivation, processing and benefits of Siridhanya.
- Enthusiasts who want to know about our Ancient Farming methods.
- Farmers who want to adopt Natural way of Farming – Jungle Krishi.
- People who can influence their friends and relatives to adopt Natural Farming.
- Individuals who are interested to spread awareness of Siridhanya among people for
- better health.
- Small/medium/mega farmers who grow commercial crops like coffee /tea / mango /plantain
/supari / coconut/ pomegranate/ cocoa /papaya /mosambi /citrus/ pineapple/ginger/turmeric
and could not match their return on investments (RoI) will be able to get a clue as to where they
have gone wrong. - Farmers who have 1 inch of bore water can easily grow 5 acres of Siridhanya 2 crops in a year.
